Keynote Overview
Technology today allows us to learn from anywhere! Based on his 2017 book The Anywhere, Anytime Classroom: The Blueprint for Learning Online, this session speaks to the aspirational opportunities that exist for improving learning capacities thanks to the mobility of both learners and those that facilitate the learning process. Practical, this presentation also addresses the basic assumptions of what it takes to facilitate high impact learning activities using basic, online technologies. Dr. Casey Reason has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and designing learning at a distance. He designed Grand Canyon University’s first online doctoral degree in leadership studies and collaborated for many years with India’s Tata Group in developing and delivering international, online learning opportunities. This session offers a fun, forward thinking look at learning in a mobile world and offers very practical strategies for keeping learning and the learner at the heart of it all.

In addition to the aspirational content the book and the training are full of technical supports and specific suggestions designed to help online instructors find success in teaching to this population.
BOOMING online and charter school business-The number of online schools for students and adults is growing and a number of blended learning opportunities are growing rapidly as well. This offering demonstrates awareness of their needs and can speak directly to their desire to innovate using technology.
Delivery Options
- Keynote-This offering can be delivered as a motivational/instructional keynote to large audiences. Keynote length can vary depending on the needs of the client.
- Training day(s)– This offering can be delivered as a training experience, delivered in one hour, half day, full day, or even as a multiple day event.
- Blended Coaching– Coaching clients typically meet with Dr. Reason bi-monthly in either face to face or via cyber-synchronous webinar/phone meetings. These coaching meetings are supported by Dr. Reason’s state-of-the-art and easily accessible learner management system where client content is organized and teaching material can be shared. Participants typically engage for one calendar year. Pre-assessments and post assessments measure progress and individual or leadership team goals are established and consistently pursued. Coaching clients might include superintendents, principals, or even aspiring leadership teams.
